Anxiety is normal, essential and a natural response to threatening situations. However, it may become severe or happen at times when it is not usual to experience anxiety.

Anxious feelings can produce unpleasant side effects of sweating, tension, panic and avoidance behaviour. If left untreated anxiety can escalate, impacting on work, relationships and general mood.
