Depression

The symptoms of clinical depression can vary from mild to severe. People can feel fed up, miserable or sad at times. However, these feelings do not usually last longer than a week or two, and they do not interfere with our lives. Sometimes, there is a reason, sometimes there isn't. We usually cope by perhaps talking to family, or to a friend and we may not need to seek professional help. However, when depressed, our feelings do not lift after a few days but may carry on for several weeks or months. These feelings also start to interfere with our daily lives.
